Essential CVS
Although i'm still reading CSS, The definitive Guide, i bought Essential CVS, also from O'Reilly. This book explains the essential commands to use CVS, as well as how to manage repositories etc.

I was under the impression
I was under the impression that, allthough CVS is still considered to be very useful, Subversion is a more modern system for managing repositories.
Both Textpattern and Wordpress development is being managed using Subversion

Yes you might be right, but
Yes you might be right, but since SVN is a fork of CVS i don't think switching from CVS to SVN is very difficult..
